must be completed to an assessable standard before Friday 9 May 2008.

and any person authorised by Globespan Media, the right to publish
photographs and other marketing materials of all entries to the Homes

individual arrangements will need to be made to collect them from Globespan
Media’s offices in London no earlier than Friday 31 October 2008, and no
later than Friday, 28 November 2008. Although every effort will be made to
ensure safe return where requested, no responsibility can be accepted for
loss or damage once entries have been received, as an average entry will
pass through many hands and may well travel with judges. It is therefore
essential not to send any irreplaceable original material of any
description, as its safe return cannot be guaranteed.
8.
If your development has been visited by an accredited Homes Overseas Awards
judge since January 1, 2008, we may ask that judge to write the awards
report based on their visit. If we intend to do this we will contact you,
giving you the opportunity to detail changes and progress made since the
date of that visit.
9.
Judges’ reports will be produced for award-winning developments only. 10. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Important notes on entering the awards – Early bird entry deadline: Friday 9 May 2008 Final award entry deadline: Friday 13 June 2008
1.
Judges are looking for concise information that clearly describes the
development and explains why it is worthy of an award. The entries are aids
to help judges draw up the list of finalists in their respective categories
before those selected are visited and award-winner reports are submitted.
2.
Please ensure all relevant contact details are supplied, including a full
postal address of the developer, and all relevant telephone numbers. To aid
the judging process, the name and telephone number of the person responsible
for each category entry should also be supplied.
3.
The name of the development and your company logo will be used on the Homes
Overseas Awards plaque in the event of an award-winning entry. Please ensure
you supply the logo and the name of the developer exactly as you would like
it to appear on the plaque. 4. 'Before' and 'after' photography is recommended for entries into the Best Renovation Development category.
