How to enter Early bird entry deadline: Friday 9 May 2008 Final Awards entry deadline: Friday 13 June 2008
1.
Any built development (or one that is currently under construction but
contains at least a built show home) may be entered, and judges will assess
each entry. The very best entrants in each category will be named
finalists.
2.
To qualify for entry, the development must, upon completion, contain at
least two units. Single unit dwellings are not eligible for entry.
3.
Hard copy entries are welcomed using the entry form at the back of the
prospectus (downloadable
here), however entries should ideally be submitted
online at
www.homesoverseasawards2008.com 4. Your entire entry can be made online, however you are welcome to enhance your entry by submitting hard-copy supporting material, such as plans, brochures and photographs, by post. If you intend to supply supporting material by post, please ensure you tick the appropriate box on the online entry form, and that you include the following details with your submission: - Category name and number - Name of Development entered - Name of Developer
- Contact name, telephone number and email address
5.
Online entry forms must be completed as fully as possible and the terms and
conditions of entry strictly adhered to.
6.
Developers – or their agents on their behalf – may submit as many individual
entries in as many categories as they wish. The cost of each category entry
is £395 (+ VAT if applicable). Please also note that if the same development
is entered in more than one category, a separate online entry form must be
filled in for each category.
7.
It is imperative that all descriptive photographs of the development you are
entering are supplied with clear captions, whether you are supplying them
online or by post. Please include the name of the development and the name
of the category you are entering on the reverse of any hard copy photographs
and on any disks containing pictures. Please use duplicate hard copy
photographs, as we cannot guarantee safe return of the originals. All
digital photography supplied by post should be high-resolution jpegs
(minimum 300dpi).
8.
A developer can enter one or more developments in any of the relevant
categories (from 3 to 30). Real estate agents can, with the permission of
the developer, enter developments or properties on behalf of a developer.
(Agents who enter a winning development will be listed in published material
as the main contact for information, however developers’ names will be
printed on winners’ trophies.) 9. A judge will visit each finalist and make recommendations to the judging panel as to the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners. The 'Developer of the Year' award has only one winner. Judges will select the Developer of the Year from all entries received. Developers are not required to enter this category.
